The Harry S Truman Regional Airport is located in Bates City, Missouri, about 31 miles east of Kansas City near I-70.

A major facility at the airport is general aviation airplane storage and parts reclamation services operated by BAS Parts Sales.

In 2023, BAS expanded by acquiring White Industries in Bates City, MO, adding more than 2,000 fuselages, millions of parts, 100,000 square feet of hangar space, and an incredible new team of aviation professionals.
